Gravity based batching and weighing system(also known as ingredient scale) is an automatic weighing device that adds multiple materials to one or more weighing containers according to a certain weight according to the production process. The system is controlled, monitored, and managed by a computer. On site, PLC is used to connect the sequence control and process control information to the computer through bus communication. The computer records and prints parameters such as the type, weight, and frequency of various materials. Suitable for production processes in industries such as metallurgy, petrochemicals, building materials, grain processing, and feed.
Weighing and batching systemThree control methods are adopted:
1. Fully automatic control mode;
After inputting the process formula on the computer, the PLC instructs the feeding equipment to add materials to the weighing container according to the pre programmed instructions. The feeding speed is generally controlled by a frequency converter, and the feeding stops after reaching the set value of the ingredients. If there are multiple materials, they need to be added to the weighing container in sequence under the control of the PLC.
2. Semi automatic control mode:
When offline from the computer, the feeding equipment is controlled through PLC using the control panel control cabinet. Similarly, the feeding speed is controlled by a frequency converter, and the feeding will automatically stop when the set value of the ingredients is reached.
3. Manual control mode:
Use the on-site electrical cabinet to operate the feeding equipment to add materials to the weighing container. When the predetermined value is reached, cut off the circuit and stop adding materials. This method is mainly used for system installation, debugging, and maintenance.
Brief description of other ingredient systems:
Centralized control batching system: usually refers to a system in which two or more materials are sequentially added to a weighing container for batching, with the characteristics of compact structure and low investment.
Mixing control batching system: A batching system that combines multiple materials according to their similarity in weight values, adds them to different weighing containers for measurement, and then mixes them together. It has fast weighing speed, high measurement accuracy, and moderate investment.
Mobile batching system: The weighing container is installed on a vehicle that can move back and forth, and materials are added to the weighing container from different feeding points for batching. The system has the characteristics of multiple material varieties, complex formulas, and accurate positioning of the weighing vehicle.
